Service Processes

At Rhodium Service Center, we understand the true value of time. That’s why we provide exceptional maintenance and repair services for your Rolex and Tudor timepieces, ensuring the highest standards of quality and care.

We exclusively use original equipment and parts at our service center. Our highly skilled watchmakers, trained at Rolex’s headquarters in Switzerland, ensure the most meticulous and precise care for your timepiece.

Regular maintenance is essential to prolonging the life of valuable timepieces like Rolex and Tudor, which are designed to be passed down through generations. This diligent care not only improves the watch's resilience to the wear and tear of time, but also ensures that its elegance and functionality are preserved for many years.

1

Collection of Your Timepiece

When your watch is collected, a sales consultant will carefully note all your requests. The timepiece is then sent to our technical service department for further assessment and care.

2

Assessment of the watch

Once your watch is assessed by our watchmaker, a detailed estimate form outlining the necessary services and the approximate time required will be provided. The service process begins upon your approval of the proposal.

3

Preparation for servicing (Disassembly)

The bracelet is carefully detached from the watch case, and the movement is gently removed from the case. The case is then fully disassembled into its individual components.

4

Cleaning of the components

The movement is disassembled, and each component is carefully cleaned using specially formulated solutions in an ultrasonic cleaning process.

5

Replacement of components

The Rolex watchmaker carefully examines each component of the movement with meticulous attention, identifying any parts that require replacement. Only original spare parts, sourced directly from Rolex's headquarters in Switzerland, are used to ensure the flawless functionality of your timepiece.

6

Assembly and lubrication of the movement

The movement is carefully reassembled, with each functional component precisely lubricated using the most advanced oils to reduce friction and prevent wear. This process ensures that the mechanism continues to function accurately. At this stage, the watchmaker also makes the initial adjustment to the watch's precision.

7

Refinishing of the case and bracelet

The same level of care applied to the movement is also extended to the maintenance of your watch's case and bracelet. The case and bracelet are carefully inspected, and any worn or damaged parts are replaced with original Rolex components. Afterward, the case and bracelet are delicately polished, cleaned using ultrasonic technology, and the case undergoes a water-resistance test.

8

Casing the movement

Once the dial and hands are reattached, the watchmaker carefully performs both technical and aesthetic checks on all components. The movement is then delicately placed back into the case.

9

Precision test

The watchmaker rechecks the chronometric precision of the movement placed in the case to ensure it meets Rolex standards, making any necessary adjustments. Next, the case back is securely screwed on, and your watch undergoes a specialized Rolex test lasting at least 24 hours to verify the movement's performance over time.

10

Waterproofness test

The watch case undergoes a rigorous testing process to ensure its pressure resistance. At this stage, vacuum, compression, and condensation tests are conducted to detect even the smallest trace of moisture inside the case. Following these tests, the bracelet is securely attached to the case.

11

Final control

Your watch is now ready for the final inspection, where its performance and flawless aesthetics will be approved by the watchmaker. During this final check, the power reserve, accuracy, and visual appearance of your timepiece are verified one last time to ensure it meets the highest quality standards.

12

Delivering the watch

Once the service process is completed, your watch is returned to you in a protective pouch, accompanied by an international service warranty valid for 2 years, covering the replaced parts and workmanship.
